hristmas was very uneventful this year. There was no anticipation (at least from myself)  nor surprises. I knew exactly what I was getting. A Hello Kitty bike and Lacoste boots were my big gifts this year. I got a few other things, mostly books and gift certificates. Ricky's parents gave me quite a few things this year, and I feel really bad because I didn't get them anything at all! Ricky even said not to. Ugh, next year I'm not taking his advice.

The regulars came over; my Aunt Daphne and Uncle Tym, my mother's friends Nesti and Shanel (who brought over Nesti's brother, Edi), and Ricky over course. I didn't spend a lot of time at home, though. Ricky called me and woke me up at 11 to go over to his house to open gifts. I came back at 2 in time for Christmas "dinner" which actually wasn't ready yet, so we opened gifts first instead (I don't know whose bright idea it was to open gifts AFTER dinner, anyway). I was happy that my parents liked the gifts I got them. This was the first year that I actually got them anything that they didn't wrap themselves. I got my mom a book about Ronald Reagan (her HERO...) and a BCBG skirt, and my dad a live DVD of The Who and a Ralph Lauren tie. I got Ricky a Calvin Klein sweater and underwear, and a $100 Apple store gift certificate (my mom told me to get it for him as a gift from her because she couldn't go to the mall to get it, but then she forgot and got him ANOTHER Apple store gift certificate.. wtg).

After dinner and all that, Ricky and I went to Cody's/Bret's. Paul and Kailie also came over and Kailie showed off her new digital camera. We took photos of the boys setting up Cody and Bret's new entertainment center. Which reminds me, I left my camera cord at school so I can't upload winter break photos >:[

Well, Christmas is over, and now we have to worry about New Year's. We have a major problem, we have no where to party! Tyler had originally offered his house up but he changed his mind because he would rather spend New Year's at a hotel party without his friends. He has always been flakey as hell. So now the rest of us has no where to go. We were thinking of going down to Richmond and doing it at Baylen's but Cody has to work on New Year's Eve and the next as well. So as of right now we don't have any solid plans. I need to find a party.

I was terrified of getting cancer. I used to be so paranoid. Like, if I saw a strand of my hair on my pillow or something, I'd freak out because I thought cancer caused your hair to fall out (I later learned that chemo used to treat the cancer made it fall out, obviously).

I have a day left in Northern VA. I'm moving to Richmond on Saturday and I'm kind of nervous. Actually, not that nervous. Well nervous about a few things, I suppose. I still have to finish packing.

I hate that I have nothing to say on these things. Everyone else can write paragraphs and paragraphs about their lives, but I can't.

How well do you know your next-door neighbors?

Not very well, at all. On the left are sihks, they have like 3 sons or something and they all wear turbans. The oldest used to walk with me to the bus stop in middle school, but we didn't even talk. The right are some hispanic people (I think). They always blast loud spanish music really late at night and their friends keep parking in front of our mail box and pissing me off because it's annoying when people you don't know park in front of your house. This guy Jeff used to live on our right, he was our mechanic and he used to bring over fish from his fishing trips for us. That was nice. He also had a huge crush on my mom's illegal friend, Sally, and let her live with him for a while.

Do you have any tattoos? If not, if you were going to get inked, what would you get?

I have one tattoo on my ribs of two bunnies being cute. My best friend has the same exact one (we wanted to match). I want to get more, but I don't know what I want yet, plus it hurts like a bitch.

I really wish I could get these ankle boots (these are Chloe), or find some that are cheap. The closest ones I found are at Zappos, and they are Marc by Marc Jacobs, so of course they are $246346373234234. My life is terrible.

In other news, I have no idea where the hell Ricky is. I was supposed to buy him a new cell phone today (the exact reason why I don't know where he is). He was supposed to call me today, but he never did. I called his house and Trevor, his little brother, answered. He said he had no idea where he was. He could have been lying because he hates waking Ricky up (if he's asleep, which is entirely likely). I really wish he would call me.

Also, this is TMI, but I ran out of tampons. The only ones that are in the house are from 1992, and I'm not too keen on using a decade old tampons. So I've resorted to using pads, which means I can't go out of the house. Ugh.
